Winter Wonderland, december 2008

Gentlemen,
 
To night we have a drop behind enemy lines, near the forest of
Stevensbeek, called operation "Winter wonderland".

Mission objectives: navigate practice, tactical movement, hand signals,
up date your condition, cross open field.

The weather forecast is dry and minus 10 degrees, so wear warm clothes.
Remember the ground is covered with snow, so we expect you in winter
camouflage! Improvise if you don't have anything white... The Aces will
wear M43 jumpsuits (101 AB), be armed with your rifle,  carbine or side
arms.

To avoid soldiers at the "Onion place", we will meet at "het landhuisje"
at 7:15 pm. Please organize your own transportation to the meeting
place.
Be prepared for a 2 / 3 hour mission in the dark woods. Take your flash
light with you, and fill up your water can. Fill up your musette bag to
2 kg.

During the mission a war photographer will join us for action pictures
at night. You can join him with your own camera, if you like.
